Student Participation
Here's How It Works
-
Obtain the Class Password from your Instructor and Sign Up Below
You will input your class password to register under your instructor’s name. Your registration will be activated through email confirmation. Your instructor must approve your registration before you can upload photos.
-
Upload Photos to the Exhibition Map
After photographing your beltline section, login and follow the easy steps to upload up to four photos. You will label your own images and pinpoint them onto the map.
-
Instructors Approve Photos for Exhibition
Your photos will be held pending Instructor approval. No photos will appear on the website until your Instructor logs in and approves them.
This is your class art project.
This website only provides information to help you organize your projects and a venue to exhibit your photos. Photography can be objective or subjective. You can focus on the details or the panoramic. You can photograph things you find or make. You can explore the sociological features along the beltline and collaborate with people and communities. Or you can discover the beltline’s natural, historical and architectural features. This project does not require the whole semester. Photographs should be taken in a group "field trip" arrangement.
Artistic research is practically limitless. We encourage you to be creative.
